TQ:  Open Source Development Tools For Linux: Why and How?
08/06/2007, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Speaker:
Kevin P. Dankwardt, Founder and CEO, K Computing.

What open source development tools are frequently used by application developers on Linux? How are they used? Why would I use them? We answer all of those questions with discussions and demonstrations of tools such as: gdb, gprof, gcov, valgrind, ElectricFence, ltrace, strace, ctags, DDD, splint, dmalloc, doxygen, oprofile, cscope, and gcc. These tools help a developer to root out bugs and to improve the performance of their programs.
