Programming games for Linux tends to be a cross-platform operation. There are special issues to address in cross-platform programming, especially in multimedia-heavy applications such as games. In addition, building games for small (but growing) markets poses additional challenges. This panel will address the current commercial Linux gaming scene. Who's in it, what does it take to survive, and where it is going. Both client and server will be addressed.
