This session will provide a practical guide to understanding the performance of Oracle, Java and web applications in a virtual environment. Advice on performance monitoring and analysis as well as tuning and optimizing these applications will be presented. We'll share data on the performance of these workloads on a variety of configurations including scaling data. Results will not only inform deployment and configuration decisions but can assist sizing and capacity planning in large datacenters. Attendees can expect not only to understand the keys to optimal performance in enterprise application deployments on VI3 but best practices for configuration of all enterprise class applications on VMware virtualization.
